After trailing Ishod for a large duration of the finals, Nyjah Huston bounced back at the end to reign victorious in the first ever Street League Skateboarding Monster Energy Pro Open. After landing a picture perfect 9.6 Backside 360 Kickflip Lipslide—one of his three 9 club tricks for the day—and a Nollie Cab Lipslide in the Control Section, Nyjah sealed the deal for another Street League victory.

This victory cements Nyjah a ‘golden ticket’ straight into the 2014 Nike SB Super Crown World Championship, and $20,000 in prize money. Congrats to the three new SLS Pros as well: Matt Berger, Trevor Colden and Davis Torgerson.

Nyjah Huston adds another trophy to the shelf this weekend with a comeback victory in the first ever Street League Skateboarding Monster Energy Pro Open at Nike SB’s Sixth & Mill Skatepark in Downtown Los Angeles.

All eyes were on day two of the Pro Open, as eight new qualifiers from day one not only competed against each other for 3 spots in the SLS Nike SB World Tour, but also went up against the current SLS pros. On the line, $75,000 in total prize money and a ‘golden ticket’ to the SLS Nike SB Super Crown World Championship in August.
